Prezzy Reloadable Card Explained

1. What is a Prezzy Reloadable Card?

The Prezzy Reloadable Card is issued by Euronet Services India Private Limited and supported by Rupay. It can be used at all merchant establishments accepting Rupay cards.

2. What is a Prezzy Reloadable Card PIN?

For security reasons, a four-digit secret personal identification number (PIN) is required to be generated to use the Prezzy Reloadable Card at POS merchants.

3. Why do I receive PIN errors during transactions authentication?

PIN errors usually occur when the incorrect PIN type is used.

  • Use Card PIN for POS/ATM transactions only as 2FA.
  • Use IPIN for online purchases transaction only as 2FA.
    For all online payments, either use IPIN or OTP (as the dynamic 2FA PIN - second-factor authentication) may be required as per selection of
    authentication mode.
4. What is the validity of the Prezzy Reloadable Card?
The validity of the card may depend on the category and type of Prezzy Reloadable Card. You may refer to the expiry date printed on the front of the card. The minimum validity for the card is 3 years.
5. What is the difference between Card PIN and IPIN, and when should I use each?

Your Prezzy Card uses two different types of static PINs for 2FA depending on the transaction type:

  • Card PIN - Use for in-store POS transactions and ATM withdrawals.
  • IPIN - Use for Online or E-commerce transactions.
    Using the correct PIN ensures your transaction is processed successfully.
6. How can I top up my Prezzy Reloadable Card Prepaid Card?

Funds can only be added to Prezzy Reloadable Card by the buyer or purchaser entity, which means your corporate, programme manager or co-brand partner only.

7. How can I check the balance available on my Prezzy Reloadable Card?
  1. You can check the balance available on the card through the Customer Self-Service Portal, accessible at www.prezzycard.co.in.
  2. Alternatively, drop us an email at help@prezzycard.co.in or call us on 1800 209 3991.
  3. Every debit SMS alert on SMS or email will also include details of the remaining balance available on the card.
8. Can Prezzy Reloadable Card be used for ATM withdrawals?

As per RBI regulations, ATM withdrawals are allowed only on Full KYC cards. Once Full KYC is completed, your card can be used for ATM withdrawals within specified limits as per regulations.

9. Where can I reach out to for any assistance regarding the Prezzy Reloadable Card?

For information on charges, please refer to the respective Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITCs) for such cards.

  1. You can access the customer self-service portal at www.prezzycard.co.in.
  2. For any support, you can email us at help@prezzycard.co.in or call us on 1800 209 3991(available between 9 am to 6 pm on business working days i.e. Monday to Friday only.), and for any escalation or complaint, you can email us at grievance@euronetprepaid.com . You may refer to the Customer Grievance section on the Prezzy website for further details.
10. What should I do if my mobile number to which my card is linked is lost or stolen?

If your registered mobile phone (to which the card is linked) is lost or stolen, please immediately log into the Customer Self-Service Portal at www.prezzycard.co.in or email us at help@prezzycard.co.in or call us on 1800 209 3991 to hot list or block the card.

11. What should I do if I need to change my registered mobile number linked to my Prezzy Reloadable Card?

You can log into the Customer Service portal and update your mobile number, provided you still have access to the mobile number originally registered (to receive the OTP).

If you no longer have access to your old registered mobile number, you can contact us via email on help@prezzycard. co.in or call us on 1800 209 3991 to request such a change (subject to cardholder verification).

12. What should I do if my Prezzy Reloadable Card is lost or stolen?

There are 2 ways to block your card:

  1. You may email us at help@prezzycard.co.in or call us on 1800 209 3991.
  2. You can log in to the Customer Self Service Portal at www.prezzycard.co.in > login as customer > click on the card status and block your card right away. To block the cards from the customer portal, please follow the below steps:
    • Click on the card status icon. Change the status to “Permanent/Temporary Block” and mention the reason for blocking your card.
    • Please note that after the permanent blocking of the card, the same card cannot be re-activated.
    • Your balance would be stored safely and subject to applicable laws and/or terms and conditions, transferred to your newly issued card after a customer request. Applicable card replacement charges may apply.
13. How do I unblock the Prezzy Reloadable Card that has been temporarily blocked by me?
  • please visit www.prezzycard.co.in and login to the Customer portal using your registered mobile number and OTP.
  • On the Homepage, Click on ‘Card Status’ tab.
  • The Card Status will show as ‘Temporarily Blocked’
  • You can change the status of your card from
    • Temporary Block to Active; OR
    • Temporary Block to Permanent Block
  • Please note that once the card is permanently blocked, you cannot unblock the same.
14. What happens to the available balance on the card once the card has expired?

You can make a request by contacting the Customer Care on 1800 209 3991 or email us at help@prezzycard.co.in for a replacement card. A new card will be issued if the available balance on the card is more than the charge for replacement.

1. What are the features of the Prezzy Reloadable Card?

The Prezzy Reloadable Card is a prepaid payment instrument or PPI issued by Euronet Services India Private Limited (Euronet) pursuant to Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations and can be used for paying online, in stores, etc. It is a Reloadable card and can be used to make transactions at POS, ECOM, and ATMs (for Full KYC cards only).

Benefits of the Prezzy Reloadable Card are as follows:

  1. Safer than cash: If you lose your card or it gets stolen, you can block it online if needed. Once the card is blocked, no further payment can be made using your card till it is unblocked.
  2. Budgeting made easy: Track your spending easily online and control your expenses.
  3. Always know your balance. Check online or get an SMS alert after every transaction.
  4. Shop anywhere: Use it at any POS, ATM (for full KYC only), or ECOM merchant in India accepting such cards.
2. How can I buy a Prezzy Reloadable Card?

Currently, Prezzy Reloadable Cards are available through the relevant programme manager or co-brand arrangements only. If you are a corporate entity or a distributor, you can drop us your inquiry by writing to us at enquiry@prezzycard.co.in

3. What is the loading limit of the Prezzy Reloadable Card?

As per the RBI regulations:

  1. The maximum limit on a small PPIs during any month shall not exceed 10,000, and the total amount loaded during the financial year shall not exceed 1,20,000.
  2. For a Full KYC PPIs, the outstanding amount shall not exceed Rs. 2,00,000 at any point in time. Separate individual limits may be set for each card subject to risk profile of the customer/programme manager.
4. Is there a limit to the amounts I can transact using the Prezzy Reloadable Card?

Maximum limits are subject to applicable law and terms and conditions, and the KYC status and category of the Prezzy Reloadable Card.

A. Small PPIs:

Following limits are applicable per the extant RBI regulations:

  • Maximum amount that can be debited per month = 10,000/-
  • Maximum amount outstanding = 10,000/-
  • Maximum Reloadable Amount per month = 10,000/-
  • Maximum Reloadable Amount per financial year = 1,20,000/-

The above limits are subject to change in regulations and specific limits which may approved by Euronet.

B. Full KYC PPIs:

Following limits are applicable per the extant RBI regulations:

  • Maximum Amount Outstanding = 2,00,000/-
  • Fund Transfer Limits:
      • To ‘Pre-registered Beneficiaries’ up to 2,00,000/- per month.
      • Funds Transfer in other cases is maximum 10,000/- per month.
      • Cash withdrawal permitted up to a maximum limit of 2,000/- per transaction within an overall monthly limit of
      • 10,000/- per PPI across all channels (agents, ATMs, PoS devices, etc.)

The above limits are subject to change in regulations, available balance in the PPI and specific limits which may approved by Euronet. Lower limits may be set by Euronet (or the programme manager, Corporate or Brand Partner).

5. Is there any limit on the number of purchases/transactions that can be done using the Prezzy Reloadable Card in a single day?

Yes, the daily allowed transactions is 50/day (maximum limit) You may choose to set daily transactions count as per your convenience from the Customer service portal on the Prezzy website. You can only transact up to the available balance on your card.

6. Can I use my Prezzy Reloadable Card to build credit?

No, Prezzy Reloadable Card does not impact your credit score as they are not a form of credit. They simply allow you to spend the funds that have been loaded onto the card.

7. Are there any charges levied by Euronet when making purchases with this card?

For information on charges, please refer to the respective Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITCs) for such cards.

8. Where can I get details of the last transaction that I made using the Prezzy Reloadable Card?

You can see details of any previous transaction on your card by accessing the Customer Self- Service Portal at www.prezzycard.co.in. Please go to the “Card Transaction” tab and select the relevant date range.

9. What steps should I take to secure against unauthorised payment at merchant outlets or websites?

You can take the following steps to prevent unauthorised use of the card:

  1. Log into the Customer Service Portal with your registered mobile.
  2. Make a separate note of your card number and customer care number for emergency use.
  3. As an added security measure, you will be asked to use both your personal identification number (PIN) and one-time password (OTP) while making payments at merchant outlets.
  4. Do not share payment credentials (such as card details, CVV, expiry date and month, PIN, or OTP) with anyone, even if the person claims to be a Euronet employee.
  5. Do not click or open any link received via SMS or e-mail claiming to be a Prezzy Reloadable Card link. If you suspect that your card details are compromised, log into the customer self- service portal or drop us an email at help@ prezzycard.co.in or call us on 1800 209 3991 to hotlist the card immediately.
10. What are the different ways in which a user can block a Prezzy Reloadable Card?

Primarily there are 2 types of blocks that can be applied on the card:

  1. Temporary Block - Used for cases when the card is misplaced or blocked with an intention to unblock again when the card holders want.
  2. Permanent Block - Used for cases when the card is lost, fraudulent transactions are observed, or replacement of the card is requested.
  3. Note: Any blocking/un-blocking request can be managed via Customer Portal on Prezzy website www.prezzycard.co.in
